Lip Enhancement has largely become one of the most popular aesthetics treatments due to its versatility and impressive, long-lasting results.

Our lip filler treatment will be expertly tailored to you. Following a thorough consultation with your SAS Aesthetics doctor, we’ll select the right type of filler to address your concerns – be it a more fluid filler for subtle enhancement and hydration, or a thicker product to achieve volume and definition.

Administering hyaluronic acid dermal fillers with an ultra fine needle or by using cannula techniques, we work with the natural anatomy of your lips to enhance and restore. Lip Enhancement can work to treat a number of conditions that may be genetically predisposed or have appeared over time with age, such as; asymmetry, dryness, downward-turned corners of the mouth, fine lines along the border of the lips, or a general lack of fullness or depletion of volume due to aging.

Lip Enhancement treatments use a number of small injections to instantly sculpt the lips, creating overall balance, definition, fullness and symmetry for a more youthful look. This is a beautifully adaptable treatment, lasting from six to twelve months, whereby you can gradually build, remove or alter results if required.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid. This is a natural substance which is normally found in the skin and other parts of the body such as the eyes. Hyaluronic acid is a gel substance that absorbs water very strongly and can therefore be injected into the skin to add volume and smooth out deeper lines.

How long does it take to work?

After Lip Filler Augmentation Treatments the results appear immediately however due to the initial swelling the true result will show fully 2 weeks after the initial injection.

Are there different types of Dermal Fillers?

Yes, there are different types of thickness of dermal fillers. Each one is used in a different way and targets a different part of the face. We use a medium thickness filler for lips and under eye to create a smooth result whilst avoiding the formation of lumps and bumps. In parts of the face requiring more structure a thicker dermal filler is used.

How long do fillers last?

The longevity of dermal fillers depends on the area injected and the type of filler used. A rough estimate for lips is 3-6 months although it lasts longer up to 18 months in those who have had multiple treatments. In the face, dermal fillers often last between 9-12 months initially and up to 2 years after multiple treatments.

Is the treatment painful?

All dermal filler treatments are done after the application of local anaesthetic cream which remains in place for 10-20 minutes depending on your pain tolerance. This will result in a relatively painless procedure.

What are common side effects?

Dermal fillers / hyaluronic acid injections are a natural occurring substance and are therefore one of the safest injections with minor side effects such as swelling and bruising. However more serious complications such as blockage of veins/ arteries can arise if the injector is poorly qualified. This is why it’s important to choose your aesthetics doctor with care.

What should I avoid before and after the treatment?

We often discourage consumption of alcohol 12 hours before and after your Lip Filler Augmentation treatment. Smoking should be avoided 6 hours before and after your treatment. Both these factors affect the likelihood of you bruising. Other things to avoid are hot showers, saunas as well as exercise. for 24 hours and avoid sunbathing or sunbeds for up to 7 days.

Does my skin become saggy after the filler is absorbed?

No, over time as the dermal filler is absorbed by the body, your skin will naturally lay down collagen through the healing process which will make your skin stronger and less prone to sagging and wrinkles.

Are there any contra-indications?

Yes, the absolute contra-indications are pregnancy, breast feeding. Relative contra-indications are the use of blood thinning medications (please discuss this with your doctor during your consultation).

What is the minimum age for dermal fillers?

You Must Be 18 Years Old to Receive Lip Filler Augmentation Treatment.

Do you offer any Dermal Filler Packages?

Yes, we do – please refer to our contour page for details.

I treat skin every single day.

Here is what I wish more women knew before they came to see me.

1. The biggest change in your skin after 35 is not at the surface. It is structural. The products on your shelf can support it ,but they cannot rebuild it.
2. Most women I see are doing too much. Layering actives that cancel each other out, stripping a barrier that is already struggling.
3. SPF is the most powerful anti-ageing tool you have. Wear it every single day and reapply throughout the day.
4. You cannot out-product a poor lifestyle. Sleep, nutrition and movement do more for your skin than anything you can buy.
5. Your neck and chest are ageing faster than your face, and most people completely ignore them. Start treating them now.
6. Price is not a marker of efficiency. Some of the most clinically proven ingredients cost almost nothing. Most of what you are paying for is marketing.
7. Strong actives are not always better. Most skin issues I see come from overuse, not underuse. If something is irritating your skin, it is damaging your barrier.
8. Your skin at 40 does not need the same routine it needed at 25. Most people are following advice built for someone half their age.
9. A bad previous treatment is harder to fix than doing nothing at all. Choose your practitioner well before you choose your treatment.

If you want to know where to start with your skin treatments, a consultation is the best first step.

Most people associate CO2 laser with one thing.

The reality is it covers a lot more.

Acne scarring, fine lines, uneven texture, sun damage.

Often in the same treatment.

But, it isn't right for everyone.

A consultation is where you find out if it's the right fit.

The ask has changed.

It's not "make me look younger." It's "make me look like myself on a good day."

Curious what that could look like for you?

A single stitch brow lift is a minimally invasive procedure.

If your brows have started to sit heavier and your eyes look less open than they used to, this is one option worth looking into.

Most people assume ageing skin is just a timeline you can't control, but a lot of it comes down to daily exposure you can.

Protecting your skin barrier now is cheaper than fixing it later.
